Command bar on the side instead of at bottom
Make it easy...

I'm glad to report that Vertical Scrolling is finally finished with a brand new view (which is the details but a little smaller). You'll get it soon.

Drag and drop
I'd like to have 2 Windows Side by Side to drag and drop files with a prompt to select copy or move. As is drag and drop seems to be to complicate
Aspect
Possibility to select folder icon instead of star for favorite folder
Smaller and more discrete apparence of folder / file list in fetali mode in Order to nave more items in the same view -
Thank you for the suggestions. I'll definitely consider them. Although the tabs/command bar hover some contents and it won't be a good experience for you if they were always visible. For the future, I have a better solution which is to have a "manage" mode which is basically a two-column view + the options for file management operations.
The archive option is absolutely in the list.
I'll have to check out the new finder design.

Great to hear things are looking up for most of the ideas.
Last couple of things to add to the list:- Option to always show tabs and command bar buttons(side or top closer to sides for buttons)
- Zip/RAR/7z
- Make the experience as close to mac's new tabbed finder app(do not worry about tags). Need the same thing but with slightly bigger folders/buttons for convenient touch action.Regards

- Vertical Scrolling is already in the TODO list. I didn't think you'd wanted it to be always turned on by default, but I'll add an option to make it the direction permanently.
-I like this idea. Very much. I think I'm gonna merge both suggestions so you'll have an option for drag & drop for: 1. Move 2. Copy 3. Ask (which shows the context menu)
-Now that I know what you want, it's going to take a little time for me to design something like that in a grid (or list view). I have to make some designs and ask some people to give their ideas about them.
Thanks for the feedback.

Hi. Let me expand on suggestions a little:
- Vertical Scrolling: Horizontal scrolling in file explorer was always awkward. We are not going to go into what is wrong with Metro design. Will suffice to say there isn't much right with it. To be fair I would at least give an option to have everything scrolling vertically.
- Drag and Drop: My mistake - all works good. I would, however, add a context menu on drop to select copy or move. Or at least an option to have this would be very much appreciated.
- Classic Details View: Go to file explorer on desktop and select the "Details" view. Although I would like the size of each folder a little larger - similar to "Content" view.
- Command bar on the side: I always wonder if MS dev people actually used tablets when making Metro. It is plain inconvenient to have to reach to bottom(especially bottom centre) of screen for buttons. Context menus should either popup at place of touch or be easily accessible for thumbs when holding device.
Hope the above clears things up.

Hello and thank you for your suggestions. However, if possible, please elaborate a little more on your ideas. I'll try to guess what your suggestion is and please correct me if I'm wrong in my assumption.
-Vertical Scrolling: If you suggest that we change the scrolling direction of the main content to vertical, I'd have to say, it's against the Metro design. However, for the snapped view, it's the recommended mode and I'll add it soon.
-Drag and Drop: Is already supported for moving items. It's ever supported for tabs (which was very tricky to implement). Where do you want to perform Drag & Drop?
-Classic Details View: I didn't get this one. Please explain with an example.
-Command bar on the side: There are a lot of commands. Don't you think it'll be a little crowded if I moved them to the sides? And, please shed some light on the benefit of doing this. I'm trying to see if it's a valuable addition. Since the Metro design puts the AppBars on top & bottom. Thanks again for the feedback. Looking forward to hear more from you.
