When exploring folders with images and I click on a thumbnail, I get the same thumbnail size image again
If I click a second time, then I get the image in actual pixels. What I think should happen is the first click should render the largest possible image to fit within the existing screen. Most users would prefer this as the 1st click to get the same thumbnail size image is a wasted step. The 2nd click to get the full image I don't disagree with.
Nice looking program, I hope to be able to use it after figuring how to use it. Thanks nice job!
Let me know if there’s any issue.

I've pushed an update to the Store. In this update, I changed the preview per your request.
When you open an image, the image will fit to your screen size. After that, you'll be able to zoom in & out from 0.5 to 2.5 times the image size.
I hope this is what you wanted. I'll be glad to hear your feedback on this.

I understand, but now that I understand what's going on, here's what I think is a problem. I'm a photographer and my image sizes, as downloaded from my camera are 7360x4912 pixels. I'm sure most cameras these days have similar large images. I would prefer, and I think many others would too, that large images not be rendered in actual size, but to fit within the existing screen size. That way, users can preview their images in one glance, as opposed to a separate action to shrink to fit. Images smaller than the existing screen would display at actual sizes.

Actually, it's not the click that's loading the image. The image is loading in the background when you click the item.
IN SHORT: Just click on image and wait a few moments. It'll load based on your image size and your hard disk speed.
DETAILED: Let me explain this:
To avoid app's crashing there's a 200 millisecond delay for loading images (so if you hold down the PageDown button, it wouldn't crash). After that, the program will load the current image and the other images in the background so if you go to the next image, it'll show up immediately...
